| Members only FREE prediction Competition - Everton v Utd
|
This competition is open to all donating members in the members only forum. If you wish to become a member, simply sign up on the SEF forum and make a financial donation towards SEF's banners and flags, either via paypal or via cheque (Info on how to donate can be found below).
Simply predict what minute you think the first goal will be scored in the away game at Everton on Saturday 25th October (Either teams goal).
If someone has already placed a minute, then they take that minute as theirs. Only one person can have 0-0 prediction.
Only one entry per member. Once all 90 mins and 0-0 have been taken, then competition will not be open to further entries.
The minute of the first goal will be taken from The BBC website.
If no winner, the prize will roll over to the next game.
Both 45 mins and 90 min entries will include repsective injury time, eg First goal is 93 mins then winner will be the person with 90 mins.
The winner will receive a choice of T-shirt from Philosophy Footballs
range of United t-shirts, in a size of their choice.
The t-shirt shown here is dedicated to United's win in Moscow and is taken from the front page of a Russian newspaper the morning after the game, showing all of the match facts in Russian.
These t-shirts are available along with several other Utd designs (Tributes to best, Edwards, Cantona and many others)

| Legend Mosaic
|
SEF would like to give a big thanks to the volunteers who spent a large part of Saturday morning laying out the peices to form the 20LEGEND mosaic.
Im sure all fans will agree that it looked superb.
A new SEF banner was also in place on the Stretford End, which captulated the imortal lines from the ITV commentary from Barcelona in 1999, the banner reading "...AND SOLSKJAER HAS WON IT" featured two images of Ole, one of him scoring the winning goal in the 99 Euro Cup Final and the other of him celebrating. This banner will be up for Wednesdays game, afterwards SEF plan to get Ole to sign this banner and it will then be auctioned off, more details on this will be announced shortly via this site.
This new banner cost SEF £169.20 and once again we thank people for their donations which have enabled us to achieve this.
If anyone has any pictures of this banner of the mosaic that we could use on here, then please forward them to stretfordendflags@hotmail.com
SEF are currently in the process of voting on a new banner to go up on the Stretford End, information can be found in the members only forum. Access to this forum is given to anyone who makes a financial donation towards SEF.
We are also seeking YOUR ideas and designs for new banners to be made throughout the course of the season. Designs can either be posted on the forum area or submitted via e-mail or to our postal address.
Some of the old banners (Eg ONE LOVE STRETFORD END) have been up for several years and have now got to the stage where they require major work in order to have them up again, as a result SEF are considering having some of the classic designs re-made.
All of this will come at great expense to SEF, with each banner averaging a cost of £500.
In order to maintain banners on the Stretford End, produce the large TIFO flags that are used on European Nights at Old Trafford and to fund other ideas such as future Mosaics, we need to keep the financial donations coming in from YOU the supporters, no matter how big or small a donation.

| SEF - The Season ahead - Ole Testimonial
|
Stretford End Flags look to start the season off in the way we left off, following the success of the "BELIEVE" mosaic in Moscow and for the Barcelona home game, along with the 68/99 Euro cup design mosaic; SEF will start the season at the Ole Solskjaer testimonial by unveiling a new mosaic. The SEF "20LEGEND" Stretford End banner will be transformed into a large mosaic to cover the whole of the North lower Tier in tribute to Ole.
SEF are looking for 12 volunteers who are available on the morning of the game (2nd August), who can lay the mosaic out on the seats. SEF members can register their interest in the members forum, those helping must have a ticket for the game. Volunteers will receive a packed lunch and a special t-shirt for their help.
SEF have also produced a special banner for the Stretford End for this game and we hope to auction this off after the match.
SEF plan to produce new Stretford End banners througout the course of the season and are currently seeking designs for a banner that will pay tribute to last seasons Double Success, design ideas can be sumbitted at the forum or via e-mail at stretfordendflags@hotmail.com
We are also looking at producing other TIFO flags and mosaics and seek YOUR ideas.
