Sir Alex Ferguson 25 Years banner

SEF would like to thank everyone who has to date donated towards the Stretford End tribute banner for Sir Alex Ferguson. To date Manchester United fans have donated £3,390  towards its £3,600 cost. Fans can continue to send donations via making a paypal donation to JLIB_HTML_CLOAKING   or info on how to send a cheque can be found on the donation page.

The banner will cover the full length of The Stretford End (72 metres) and will be in place for the Sunderland home game on Saturday 5th November. The banner has now been completed and we would like to thank Barmy Flags for doing such a wonderful job with the banner, in their words "This is the best banner ever made anywhere, no exaggeration, better than those Italian ultra efforts!".

A mock up of the banner design can be seen below. In order to allow this banner to fill the full 72 metre length of The Stretford End, the banner fonts have been changed and all of the trophies won by Sir Alex have been included

If any donations are received that will take the fund total over the £3,600 needed, then these donations will be added to the SEF fund that is used to provide other banners, Tifo flags and 2 stick flags.
