The Flowers of Manchester

The Flowers of Manchester

As has now become tradition, the singing of "The Flowers of Manchester" takes place before the nearest home game to the 6th February.

Prior to Tuesdays home game with Stoke City, Pete Martin from the Salford based folk group 'Hanky Park' will commence the singing at 7pm under the Munich plaque.

Supporters are encouraged to attend and to join in with the singing.

The words to "The Flowers of Manchester" can be found at http://munich58.co.uk/the-flowers-of-manchester/ and they can be downloaded and printed off.

Whilst copies of the song will be handed out on the night, these are limited in number and we ask, if possible that supporters also print out one or two copies that can be shared with fellow supporters.

Pete Martin will also be leading the singing of "The Flowers of Manchester" underneath the Munich Plaque on February 6th at 3pm and again supporters are encouraged to attend.

The Munich plaque can be located on the corner of the East Stand, as you approach the Munich tunnel and the South Stand.
