Stretford End Flags - Player Tribute banners

The banners on The Stretford end have also paid tribute to players past and present.

The 20LEGEND banner was a tribute to Ole Solskjaer and incorporates his 20 squad number.

The "Solskjaer has won it" banner incoportaes the legendary quote following Ole's winner in barcelona in 1999. This banner was made for Ole's testimonial and spent the entire season on teh Stretford End. It was signed by Ole and then auctioned off for his chosen charity, Unicef.

 The "Eusebio, I say Kiddo" banner was a tribute to Brian Kidd and his part in the 1968 European Cup Final. This banner was in place for the home game against Benfica in 2005 and also appeared at the away leg.

The Keane Red Legend banner was made following Roy Keanes retirement in 2005 and was placed on the East stand for the European home game with Villareal.

Following the death of george Best in november 2005, SEF made the following George Best banner. This banner was first used in the away game at West Ham United and was then used as part of the clubs tributes on the pitch at Old Trafford before the West Brom Carling Cup game in December  2005. The banner remained on the Stretford End for the remainder of the season and was then donated to george Bests sister barbara and the George Best Foundation.

The Ryan Giggs banner was made to mark 20 years since Giggs made his Manchester debut. The banner first appeared on The Stretford End in March 2011 and is based on the "Giggs will tear you apart" terrace chant.

The ADORED banner features 2 goalscoring celebrations of Paul Scholes. This banner was first hung in October 2012, to mark the comeback the previous season of the Ginger Genius.
