Stretford End Flags - Mosaics

Mosaics are made by small peices of card, placed on seats in the stadium and then held up by the supporters.

The first Mosaics that SEF done were for the 2008 European Cup home game agaisnt barcelona at Old Trafford.

The Stretford End incoporated a mosaic featuring a european Cup and the wording "68" and "99" to symbolise the 2 European Cup wins that Manchester United had at the time.

The East stand hels aloft the now famous "BELIEVE" slogan.

For the European Cup Semi Final v Arsenal in 2009, as well as Believe on the East stand, a design of 3 European Cups was made on the Stretford End.

For Ole Solskjaers testimonial, SEF made the 20 legend banner into a large Mosaic that spanned North Stand.

This mosaic took 3 days to lay out.

For the 2009 European Cup final between manchester United and Barcelona in Rome, the date of the final fell on the 26th May, which would have been Sir Matt Busbys 100th Birthday. The Manchester United fans held aloft a mosaic inn tribute to Matt Busby. This proved to be the most difficult mosaic to date, as the complexity of Busbys face took several days to lay out.
